History of Nic's

Nic's Story

I would like to share with you my story on how my family's restaurants came to be. Well, let's make this short. My dad, Eric, and my mom, Michelle, took a ride up to Jerome one day to get out of Phoenix. I was only three years old. Let me tell you something, for some reason they love falling down old buildings which they call" fixer uppers". So they bought the Jerome Palace. Mom and dad worked on the building themselves on their days off from their jobs in Phoenix, while I ate mac & cheese and watched videos. On May 3, 1994, the Haunted Hamburger opened. Then three years later they bought the old run down Jerome Fire Station building which became the Jerome Brewery (later turned into Grapes) in 1998 on New Year's Eve. Then my mom took a little time off to have baby Eric. We needed more room so we moved off the mountain to Cottonwood. Mom and dad wanted a place to eat and hang out down here so here is Nic's. All I can say is where is the mac & cheese or maybe fettucini Alfredo for me and little Eric? Well if there is anything we can do to make your time at Nic's better please holler.

Sincerely,
Nicole Jurisin
